About Me

I am a special needs mom with 15 years experience serving the Autism community, in a range of support roles including Board Certified Behavior Analyst working on IEP teams, program consultant, staff trainer, Special Education & Applied Behavior Analysis university instructor, as well as teaching students with Autism. I earned my PhD in Special Education & Applied Behavior Analysis at The Ohio State University. I have also completed the Master IEP Coach® Mentorship with Catherine Whitcher, M.Ed and am a member of the well respected Master IEP Coach® Network.

After years of working in academia, clinical, and school settings, my priorities shifted as my family grew and our needs changed. I am now a Master IEP Coach® available to help empower families in the IEP process, and collaborate with their IEP teams to improve students’ educational outcomes. My professional experience prepared me to navigate this journey as a parent, and I bring that unique perspective to families through my services. I know that the IEP experience can feel overwhelming, and I am here to help.
